Goughs Bay is a suburb of Northern Victoria,
Victoria and is about 120 kms northeast of VIC's
capital city of Melbourne. In the 2011 Australian
census the population of Goughs Bay was 382
when there were 191 Females and 191 Males living
there. The median age for people living in Goughs
Bay was 58.
Goughs Bay is the biggest settlement in Mansfield
Shire outside of Mansfield township. A quiet
settlement in winter it booms during summer with
an influx of part-time residents and visitors to play
on the lake, in the river, to camp and enjoy the
scenery.
